Frequently Asked Questions:

What type of bikes is the Roadie Bag for?

  • The Roadie Bag fits road, tri, and gravel bikes from 48 to 61cm in size.
  • Handlebar bag fits bars up to 45cm in width
  • We’ll be releasing an aero bar handlebar bag next

Why doesn't the Frame Jacket cover the front wheel?

  • We may add one eventually but for now it's super easy to use without a front wheel cover.  Designing a way to cover the front wheel created a tedious on/off process, which was the last thing we wanted to do.  We surveyed 50+ cyclists and determined their primary concerns when traveling or storing their bikes revolved around cosmetic or functional damage to frame, drivetrain and shifters.

Benefits of only covering primary concern locations of bike:

  • Enhanced bag aerodynamics to sustain highway speeds without parachuting
  • Improved taillight / brake light visibility for surrounding drivers
  • Allows user to easily remove the front wheel for transport inside vehicle or on a fork mounted rack.

Is the Frame Jacket + Bar Bag durable for highway speeds?

Yes, it has been tested at highway speeds all around the USA and in some of the windiest conditions.  Tighten sizing straps for optimal aero shape.

How do you pronounce "RADELN"?

Radeln means "to cycle" in German.  Pronunciation here.

How do you use it?

Frame Jacket:

  1. Put chain in big front ring
  2. Loosen the sizing straps and make sure bag is fully unzipped
  3. Throw the material over the saddle
  4. Grip saddle and shimmy back wheel into bag (sometimes the material needs to be whipped out - give it a shake so it's fully open to receive rear wheel).
  5. Zip top horizontal zipper tight then zip belly zipper tight (may need to rotate pedals and shimmy back wheel to allow fit to take shape).
  6. Tighten as needed.
  7. Hold "T" shaped neoprene material straight out - wrap it around front head tube and then under down tube and above top tube and velcro tightly.

Handlebar Bag:

  1. Place handlebar bag over handlebars - zip down and buckle zipper into the securing clip
  2. Tighten as needed.
  3. Velcro together on top tube or velcro down to loop material of Frame Jacket.
